NTSA launches campaign to end Sexual abuse in Matatus

The National Transport and Safety Authority NTSA in conjunction with Equality Now, has launched a campaign to end sexual harassment of women in matatus.

Speaking at the launch NTSA Deputy Director Hared Adan says they have registered many cases of sexual harassment in matatus across the country hence the campaign.

The campaign dubbed Nganya safe will see NTSA set up a gender desk where victims can call and access help by calling 0709932000.

Adan says NTSA is working round the clock to fully support this mission and ensure that all perpetrators are held accountable for their actions.
