Nigerian singer Burna Boy was in the country this weekend and it seems his comment from last year caught up with him.
The singer was scheduled to appear for a TV interview on 10 over 10 but after refusing to comment on his insult to Kenyans last year the presenters threw him out.
Media personalities Joey Muthengi and Willis Raburu broke the news to the fans on the same episode Burna boy was to appear on.
“As previously advertised one Burna boy was supposed to be here,He was here, but as you remember last time he was here he called Kenyans peasants and we wanted him to elaborate on that and apologize but he was not ready to answer questions that we had for him so he made a u turn and left. Akwende.” Said Joey and Raburu amid cheers from the audience.

Last year Burna Boy angered fans at Club Privee in Westlands when he showed up for his performance at 3.00 AM and sang for just an hour.
After being called out by Kenyans on social media, Burna responded to the trolls with a tweet that described Kenyans as “peasants”.
The singer was scheduled to perform at the Uhuru Gardens for the Thrift Social-Athleisure Edition event
