Newly elected Kibra MP Bernard Okoth Imran was on Tuesday afternoon sworn in by speaker Justin Muturi.

Imran trounced 23 other candidates to clinch the Kibra seat that was left vacant after the death of his brother Ken Okoth.

The Kibra by election held on the 7th November attracted a total of 24 candidates.

The by election campaigns attracted the attention of national and regional leaders who all showed up to drum up support for their candidates.

Donned in a grey suit and an orange tie, Imran swore to serve his constituents diligently.

His party ODM congratulated Imran after the swearing in further urging him to settle down and fulfill his task of serving his people.
