Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro has been released without any charges.
Ndindi who was dramatically arrested yesterday in Murang’a county was released on Tuesday morning after Inspector General Hillary Mutyambai ordered that his file be reviewed by the Director of Public Prosecutions Nordin Haji.
Nyoro had been arrested after a scuffle ensued between Nyoro and Kamanda during a church service on Sunday.
Nyoro had interrupted the church service that Maina Kamanda had attended stating that he had not been informed of the visit in his constituency.
Nyoro’s lawyer Alice Wahome who is also Kandara constituency MP told the court that his client had appeared before the court as instructed.
“It should be noted by the court that my client presented himself as directed by police,” said Wahome.
