Pastors of church Of God East Africa in Dandora have now followed the precedence set by the Catholic Church of not allowing politicians in their pulpits.

The pastors say they will not allow politicians to give speeches during church Harambees or even attend church Harambees claiming that their donations always have some strings attached to them.

Speaking to Ghetto Radio News Pastor Shadrack Omusani Of church Of God East Africa says that politicians should not be allowed to give their contributions at the Altar further questioning the source of their money.

“Often politicians go to church harambees as the chief guests expected that they will make a big donation in exchange for being allowed to talk.  If they want to contribute to the church they can do so through the church committee involved in different projects in the church,”said Omusani.

Pastor Shadrack says that if they want to speak in the church they should just attend the church service as common church members and give their testimony on what God has done for them and not talk about politics.
