Matiang’i wants driving schools deregistered

Interior and Coordination Acting Cs Fred Matiangi has given a proposal to deregister all driving schools in the country for scrutiny.

The interior Cs says most people coming out these driving schools are not qualified yet they using the roads.

“We have to be firm on driving schools. My proposal is to deregister all of them and reregister afresh so that we know who is qualified to run a driving school,” he said.

He has added that strict regulations will be put in place for driving schools to be registered.

Matiangi’ has also urged Ntsa to suspend temporary TLB holders during this festive season in order to reduce road carnage.


He has said the traffic police department is being reviewed to ensure that road safety is enhanced in the country.
