The government has vowed to tighten the noose in its pursuit of drug lords in its fight against drug abuse in the country.
Cabinet Secretary for Interior and Security Dr. Fred Matiang’i has said that the government through his ministry is working with local and international organizations to make sure that drug traffickers are brought to book.
Matiang’i says he will make sure the drug traffickers are brought to book whether they are local or citizens from other countries.
Matiang’i was speaking at a conference organized by NACADA with international stakeholders involved in the fight against drugs so that they can work together to create awareness and also fight use of drugs among the youth together.
According to Victor Okioma chief executive officer NACADA, the confrence’s aim was to come up with different strategies to fight drug and substance abuse.
