A case filed by a woman accusing Chief Justice David Maraga of failing to support his child has been dismissed.
The case was dismissed after the woman, Mary Kwamboka failed to show up in court.
According to Maraga’s lawyer Danstan Omari, the case had not been filed properly in court by the accuser.
Reports also indicate that Kwamboka had refused to take DNA test to prove that Maraga was the father of the child.
“Birth certificate is forged, the summons from the director of children services is a fraud, letters of schools where the child is allegedly going is forged,” said Omari.
Omari stated that the forged documents are a clear manifestation that the claims were stage managed to ridicule and to bring to the disrespect the office of the Chief Justice.
“We urge people to respect the office of the chief justice as an elder of the SDA Church and as a christian who values family life,” stated Omari.
Kwamboka last month caused drama at the Milimani law courts after alleging that Maraga had refused to pay for their six-year-old daughter’s upkeep.
