Man arrested for defrauding people money in exchange for employment abroad

Detectives on Monday afternoon arrested suspected conman who has allegedly been defrauding people with the promise that he can secure them employment.

Joseph Kipkoech Keino has been accused of giving people false promises of helping them, secure employment in Qatar.

He is expected in court to answer charges of obtaining money by false pretenses.

Detectives yesterday afternoon arrested Mr.Joseph Kipkoech Keino;a man who has been defrauding people with the promise that he can secure them employment in .The suspect will appear in court today to face charges of obtaining money by false pretenses,” the DCI stated.

There has been a rising number of complaints from unemployed Kenyans who have been conned by employment agencies with the pretense of being able to give them employment abroad.

Some have parted with over Ksh. 100,000 only to realise they have been duped.
