The Federation of Public Transport Operators has stated that they will withdraw their services nationwide starting from Monday to protest the enforcement of Michuki rules.

Speaking at a media briefing the federation’s chairman Edwin Mukabana says the withdrawal of services is meant to align their operations with the new guidelines.

Mukabana says they have written to the Ministry of Transport seeking clarification on some of the requirements.

“We would like to advise our members to withdraw their services on Monday for the purposes of aligning our operations to the new guidelines,” he said.
