NEW LIGHT IN KENYAN TALENT
Lives of many talented youths in Kenya pursuing film or have passion in film industry is about to change with the Up coming Cinemadamare Africa program the biggest gathering of young Filmmakers in the world.
This is after The project Manager Great potential African Youth GPAY Signed a deal in 2018 with Cinemadamare to confirm they will be coming to Africa for the first time specifically in Kenya in 2019 and GPAY will be the sole partner to roll out the infrastructure.
Speaking to Samuel Oluoko Project manager GPAY group says that the progam has been opened for application through out the month of July and August and all the youths who have passion in film or are pursuing film are advised to apply and not miss out on the opportunity.
“The Cinemadamare will give opportunity to young film makers in the country to interact with big players in the film industry from across the globe and share their experiences,”he adds.
Over 100 film makers are expected in the country to for the CINEMADAMARE the biggest gathering of young film makers in the World.
The organisation is based in Italy and has been going on for 17 years now and Kenya will be the first country to ever host the Gathering outside Italy from 9th November to 15th December.
GPAY Project Manager Samuel Oluoko says that GPAY Africa was formed to help youths who were jobless in Dandora not to engage in crime or drug abuse by nurturing their talents such as acting,singing and film.
