The Nairobi County Government has put landlords repainting buildings that have been earmarked for demolition on notice.
The county government says any landlord found to be repainting the marked houses in order to evade demolition will face the law.
Ngei ward administrator Allan isaboke says he has received complaints that some landlords in the area are repainting their houses and repairing the cracks in order to avoid demolitions.
The demolition of structures and buildings on reparian lands are supposed to continue today.
Yesterday the county government demolished more than 10 structures and buildingson reparian lands in Huruma.
