Ng’olo Kante’s  performance against Mourinho’s Manchester United on Monday night in their FA Cup tie was hilarious .The display  made former Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard name him as the best midfielder in the world so far.

The match-winner N’Golo Kante is best midfielder in ‘world football’ .Frank Lampard said.

Kante has produced a string of fine performance since arriving from Premier League champions Leicester City. His interceptions and pinpoint passes in combination with long range shots have helped Chelsea to win a good number of matches in domestic competitions.

He scored the winning goal against the red devils in their premier league match in October 2016 where the blues won 4-0 and yesterday, his solo goal as well dumped  Manchester based side out of the FA Cup.

The Stamford Bridge hero went ahead to add that Kante is the driving force for the chain of better results at Chelsea.

“I’d go as far to say that he’s the best central midfield player in the world on current form, I really would. Looking at the way he’s performing this year, he may not be scoring lots of goals but what he’s giving to the team in the way he’s playing, the driving force that he is, I cannot see anyone else out there in world football better than him at the moment,” Lampard said.

Chelsea paid Leicester £30million for the Frenchman in the summer after his starring role in the Foxes extraordinary title win. Now it looks like a bargain, with Kante the centerpiece of the Blues’ apparently unstoppable run to what would be his second Premier League winner’s medal in two years.

It was not only Lampard who heaped praises on Kante, former Newcastle United striker Alan Shearer was also full of praise for Kante after watching the midfielder run the show at the Bridge. Shearer said the midfielder should bag the Football Writer’s and PFA player of the year awards.

“I think you’re looking at the Football Writers’ Player of the Year and the PFA Player of the Year,” said Shearer.
