Kenyatta International Convention Center (KICC) will host over 200 local artists to exhibit and sell their work for free at the premise as part of its initiative to support the growing creative art industry in the next one year.
The initiative is dubbed ‘KICC Mini-Art Gallery’ a move of drawing tourists to appreciate Kenya’s creative industry.
Speaking during a press briefing to formally launch the program CEO of KICC Nana Gecaga says that KICC has set aside space in their foyer to support the creative industry providing an avenue for artists to show case their talent.
KICC will give opportunity to four ladies and four gentlemen every two weeks to exibit and sell their work at no fee.
Some of the art work to be showcased in this Gallery include photographs,paintings,drawings, illustrations,mosaics and sketches among others.
