Makina residents in Kibra are worried lot this is after Kenya Urban Road Authority ignored further consultative forums with them saying the Ngong Road-Kibera-Kungu Karumba-Langata Link road will go on as slated.

Speaking to Ghetto Radio News the group led by Solomon Odanga Magengo the demolitions will see Makina school pupils  and children at  Egesa opharnage centre  displaced despite a court order barring KURA from ejecting the two centres.

The residents now demand further consultative forums before they are evicted .

Yesterday KURA officials held meetings with the affected residents but  made it clear that they will not compensate any one saying  the area was gazetted and mapped as public road.

They have also asked political leaders to intervene so that the an amicable solution can be reached.
