Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu has turned himself in to the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission.
Waititu turned himself in on Sunday at 10 am after the Director of Public Prosecutions Nordin Haji isuued a warrant of arrest against him, his wife Susan Wangari Ndung’u and several others.
Waititu and his wife are facing charges after the DPP established that two real estate properties which they co-founded are beneficiaries of proceeds of crime.
Waititu has been missing in action for the past two days since the DPP announced that he is a wanted man.
He apparently presented himself at the EACC offices in the company of his lawyer.
