Kenya’s Coronavirus Numbers Shoot To 15
The number of Coronavirus patients in the country has shot to 15 from the previous seven cases announced last week.
Cabinet Secretary for Health Mutahi Kagwe on Sunday announced that eight more people tested positive from the virus.
Out of the eight, five are Kenyans, two are French nationals and one is Mexican.
“The eight people arrived in the country between 4th and 17th of March with the youngest being 20 years. They have all been isolated and the 368 people who had come into contact with them have are being identified,” said Kagwe.
The French nationals who is in Msambweni, Kilifi County is also set to be airlifted to Nairobi.
Kagwe also mentioned that Kilifi Deputy Governor who had refused to quarantine himself after arriving from Germany will be charged once he gets out of isolation.
