Kenyans have flocked social media to mourn Kikuyu Benga singer John De Mathew who passed on in a car accident.
DeMathew died on Sunday night after his car rammed into a Truck on the Thika super highway.
Gatanga Member of Parliament, Nduati Ngugi said the singer died on the spot and his body was taken to Thika Nursing Home before being transferred to the Kenyatta University mortuary.
Many of his fans and fellow celebrities have described him a great leader who influenced the Kenyan music scene.
