Several Kenyans are continuing to flock the voter registration centers in the last day of the month long voter registration exercise.
The exercise which kicked off on the 16th of January 2017 will be officially closed today.
Ghetto radio carried out a spot check on various registration centers which were mostly full of people who wanted to transfer their voting centers.
Peter Muigai, the constituency elections coordinator for Mathare constituency says that the registration clerks are overwhelmed in the last minute rush as the centers are full of many people wanting to transfer their votes as well as new voters.
Peter Kibuga a resident at Mathare constituency says that he and other Kenyans had to close business just to go and finish with the registration process before they miss the chance.
He says that despite the large numbers, they have not faced any challenges on the que and they are very patient to get themselves registered.
