U.K based Kenyan singer Mistony was blocked from a TV interview over the weekend for dressing inappropriately.

Mistony who is currently signed under Refigah’s Grandpa records has been doing a lot of media tours in the country.

On Friday the sassy lass had been doing around before showing up for her final interview at a local media house.

Mistony was stopped by the security guard from accessing the building saying she cannot go on air dressed the way she was.

She was then given the option of going on air covered in a leso but she decided to forgo the interview instead.

She took to social media to narrate how disappointing she was, saying there was nothing inappropriate about her dressing.

“It felt extremely awful to be turned down by that TV station, yet other media houses received me well in that dress. I respect my body. So, I wouldn’t expose it with an ulterior motive. I was well dressed, and I think it is time we start embracing modern culture. Above all, I am an artiste; and media houses know that better. I felt humiliated,” said Mistony
