Kenya receives two mobile laboratories to boost COVID-19 testing capacity
Kenya has received two mobile laboratories and testing kits donated by Germany to boost the country’s COVID-19 testing capacity.
Speaking during the Wednesday handover at Afya house, EAC cabinet secretary Adan Mohammed said the two mobile laboratories will be used at different border points.

German Ambassador to Kenya, Annett Günther said that the labs will help increase Kenya’s testing capacity during these uncertain times.
“Covid-19 is a crisis that tests us on how we treat ourselves. These labs they will enable Kenya to detect communicable diseases. I hope that Kenya will overcome this crisis with little lives lost, “She said
The donations come at a time when Kenya has recorded the highest number of positive cases since the first case was reported in Mid-March.
