Kenya Power Makes Surprise Appearance In EACC’s List Of Most Corrupt
National Police Service are the most corrupt countrywide.
This is according to a survey report released today by the Ethics and anti-corruption commission.
The police Are followed closely by Kenya Power officials and employees.
Issuing the report Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission Chairman Eliud Wabukala says most of Kenyans seeking services from Kenya power and the police service were forced to pay bribes.
‘‘Its a shame that we must pay for bribes before we get services ..this is a warning to public servants, the services that we provide are our obligations .’’ Wabukala said.
Meanwhile the survey has has also revealed that 30% of Kenyans are ready to join the commission in the fight against corruption.
‘’General consent about this fight is okay and we shall bring as many as possible on board to help us fight this menace,’’ he said.
