Kenya’s presence in the CAF confederation cup will be missed as K’ogalo failed to advance to the CAF confederation cup group stages after losing 3-2 on aggregate having settled for a 1-1 draw to DR Congo giants Motema pembe in the first leg at kasarani and now losing 2-1 on Sunday.
This also follows as Bandari fc also loses a chance at the CAF confederation cup after losing 5-2 on aggregate Guinean side Horoya AC side in the play off stage.
It seems the Kenyan team will be on the side lines as the Kogalo champions were most likely to be of the ones to carry the Kenyan flag but things didn’t seem to go as expected.
K’ogalo missed a chance to level in the 78th minute after Muguna’s deep cross was cleared by Inonga Varane with Lawrence Juma waiting to attack.
Is it the bad condition in Kenya football scene or the struggles kenyan football is facing but the fact that teams are missing chances is a big alarm that needs to be focused on.
