KDF soldier among five arrested in a kidnapping ring in Eastleigh

Police last night arrested five people suspected to be members of kidnapping cartel in Eastleigh.

The police say the five include a soldier and a university student.

According to the police, three victims were rescued from the custody of the abductors.

The abductors were allegedly demanding for Ksh. 5000 from each victim before they release them.

“Detectives last night arrested 5 abductors among them a university student & a soldier, within Eastleigh area & rescued 3 victims. The abductors were demanding for Ksh.5,000 release fee from each victim. The suspects will be arraigned in court today,” tweeted the DCI.

The five suspects arrested are namely; Mohamed Sharmake Abdi of Kahawa Barracks, Abdikalif Mohamed Noor, Ahmed Abdullahi Abdi, Abdi Hamed Mohamed a tudent at the Kenya Methodist Univesity and Salah Abdi
