The third round of the Kenya Commercial Bank Corporate Golf 2016 heads to the Par-70 Nyanza Golf Club this weekend, attracting over 140 golfers from across the country.
The golfers will square it out at the lakeside city of Kisumu for the amateur-structured tour traversing more than a dozen golf courses across the country in tournaments and several club nights.
cThis will give budding golfers the opportunity to hone their skills and to grow a robust generation of golfers, said KCB acting Corporate Banking Director Peter Kathanga adding KCB existing customers, potential clients and partners will have the opportunity to play at the tournament.
“We are looking at building golfers for the future and redefining the game through sustained sponsorship,” said Mr. Kathanga.
KCB has committed up to Ksh20 million in golf sponsorship for the 2016 tour, highlighting the lender’s continued resolve to support sports, . KCB has sponsored golf for the past 9 years in the country.
