The KCB rugby team kick off their Kenya cup season with a challenging game against Menegai Oilers at the Den on Saturday.
The bankers, fresh off their floodies triumph, look to start the new season on a high.
The team will be without their talisman and captain Curtis Lilako who is still missing through a thumb injury and is expected back in about three weeks.
He added, “the training from pre season has been crucial in the teams preparation and we want to emulate the same unbeaten form we had last season.”
The team looks to continue to show good performances especially after their nine day high performance training down in South Africa.
The team learnt new tactics as well as both offensive and defensive plays to maximise on all 15 players on the pitch.
Oscar Simuyu who plays prop for both KCB and the Kenya Rugby team said that the team “is in good spirits ahead of the season opener this weekend and we hope to pick up where we left off last season. We will take it one game at a time, he said.”
