KCB bounce back with emphatic win over Mwamba fc

The first half of this game was extremely eventful as both teams went head to head in the Kenya Cup with KCB winning comfortably with a 33-13 win.

Andrew Amonde, back in the side, opened the scoring for the bankers with Billy Isabwa converting the try to give the team the early lead.

Scrumhalf Michael Wanjala and Tony Oyango added to Mwamba’s demise with two quick tries in the first half.

The second half proved to be more challenging as a lack of discipline cost the bankers points on the board which Mwamba took to their advantage.

With only two tries from both teams in the second half, it was easily more competitive towards the latter stages of the match.

Coach Curtis Olago said he was happy with the teams performance reiterating that their work was not done and their was much more to improve on.

Captain Curtis Lilako was back in the side after sustaining a broken finger and played a tough game emphasising that he needs to work on his fitness to be back to 100%

 

KCB take on Harlequins in the their next encounter next weekend.
