With only one day left before the match between Kariobangi Sharks and Everton, the atmosphere on Kenyan ground is filled with expectations and excitement for the match.
Local coaches from Kariobangi Grounds where the sharks normally met for practice say they have played a very big role in the Sharks perfection in terms of training and demand for results from the team.
This is at Kariobangi grounds where Sportpesa together with Everton were giving out kits to local teams in Kariobangi to assist them in their training.
Speaking to Mary Wanjiko Coach of Kariobangi sports Girls says that as coaches they have played a big role in terms of bring out players and nuturing their skills.
“We expect a win because the team is well prepared even though they have been practicing under hard conditions and we are very big fans and supporters of the team.” She adds
The Match between Sharks and Everton will be streamed live from UK and this will be an opportunity for UK to see the potential in Kenya.
Speaking to Steven Pienaar International Ambassador of Everton says that the initiative is to touch young football talent and give them hope to go on in Football.
“Our goal is to give children an opportunity to play football and better equipment for their practice.”he adds.
Steven says that the match will raise a large audience for Kenyan football from UK creating attention to Kenyan grass root football.
