Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante has won London Premier League player of the year award.
The midfielder has been instrumental in the blues’ rise to the top of the Premier League this season. The french international picked up the award at the London Football Awards on Thursday night.
Kante won the prize ahead of Blues team-mate Diego Costa, Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez and Tottenham’s Dele Alli at the event.
He was a pillar as well in the premier league Champions Leicester city as he played a pivotal role in the club’s campaign of winning their first ever premiership title.
The 25-year-old has moved up the miles in the center of midfield play this season following his move from Leicester City last summer and has impressed supporters and pundits alike.
His ability and skills to win balls, dictate and create goal scoring chances has given the blues a string of better results.
Meanwhile, Blues manager Antonio Conte was awarded the manager of the year award.He looks forward to winning his first ever premier league title as his side leads with a gap of ten points ahead of Totenham Hotspur.

Conte emerged victorious against Tottenham’s Mauricio Pochettino, Millwall’s Neil Harris and Fulham’s Slavisa Jokanovic in managerial awards last night.
