NASA co principal Kalonzo Musyoka has explained his absence at Uhuru Park on Tuesday during the swearing in of Raila Odinga as the People’s President.
Kalonzo on Tuesday told journalists that he missed the event after his security and that of other principals was withdrawn.
Kalonzo described the withdrawal of the security as a threat to him and other principals.
“Our attempts to further get to Uhuru Park even without the security details were futile after officers came and held us hostage in one room,” he said.
Kalonzo however stated that he is ready to take the oath at a later date as stated by Raila Odinga.
He further called individuals to stop spreading hate messages that might hurt NASA’s unity.
