Jacque Maribe records statement at DCI offices

Citizen TV news anchor Jacque Maribe surrendered herself at Kilimani police station on Thursday regarding the late Monica Kimani’s murder.

Jacque accompanied by her lawyer Katwe Kigen and her parents arrived at the police station in the afternoon.

She allegedly told police that she had warned her fiance Joe Irungu about an illegal firearm he had and even told him never to bring it to her house.

Police reportedly recovered a bullet underneath her bed.

Maribe, who was grilled for one hour at DCI Kilimani in relation to the murder,also disclosed to detectives  that she did not know Monica.

Joe Irungu, Maribe’s fiance is the prime suspect in the murder of the 28 year old.
