The campaign targets Kenyans above 21, who are bold, charismatic and are sociable, in line with the brand’s attributes.
The company’s Brand Manager, Zara Kuria, said the company aims to identify someone who will embody the spirit of the brand and its values of authenticity, independence and integrity, to represent the Jack Daniel’s Family of Brands and share knowledge and experiences with the local audience in a personal and engaging way.

Any interested individuals have until the end of May to log on to the Jack Daniel’s Kenya Facebook page and fill in an application form. Successful applicants will be reviewed by a panel of judges, including local leaders, who will pick three finalists. Thereafter the public will vote for the finalist they believe should represent the brand in the country. Voting will take place on the Jack Daniel’s Kenya Facebook page in July this year.
The selected ambassador will begin their assumed tittle with a trip to the Jack Daniel’s distillery in Tennessee, USA, taking part in an extensive training programme before heading back to Kenya to promote the American whiskey culture amongst whiskey drinkers in the country.
