Former Mechanic from Kariobangi North area seeks compensation from his former employer Ranger Outotek garage after he was unlawfully dismissed from work one month ago.

Marvin Ogolla claims he was dismissed from work after an accident that saw a caravan fall on him breaking his right hand.

Ogolla says that the injury has left him helpless as he is unable work at any garage.

“The accident left my hand weak,  I cannot perform heavy tasks that is required in many garages,” he says.

He further accuses his employer of dismissing him without compensation for the accident he had at work.

According to Ogola, the manager of Outotek Garage instead accused him of theft as a justification to his unlawful dismissal.

“They fired me because they were afraid the hand will be a luggage to them and that’s why they placed theft allegations on me.”he adds.

The Outotek Garage Owners could not be reached for comment.
