The Inspector General of Police has warned against the disruption of the ongoing Competency Based Curriculum training on teachers.

IG Hillary Mutyambai says he has instructed County and sub County commanders under the supervision of Regional commanders to ensure that the training continue uninterrupted.

Uknown persons on Tuesday interrupted ongoing CBC training in different parts of the country including Kakamega, webuye, Bungoma and Mombasa.

The Kenya National Union of Teachers has opposed the training citing lack of consultation.

“We shall not allow anyone to unlawfully sabotage legitimate activities of government and those culpable will be apprehended and dealt with according to the law,” said Mutyambai in a statement.

“The NPS will continue with its mandate of maintaining law and order without fear or favour and welcomes the support of Kenyans towards creating a peaceful environment for all,” the IG said.
