Hard rock for Leopards as Bandari take Lead in the league

Bandari’s 1-0 win against Kariobangi Sharks saw them seat on top of Kenyan Premir League chart with 28 points.

The team has had a good start of the season and will be fighting to keep its lead on Saturday when they face Nzoia Sugar.

Mathare FC were kicked off the lead by  Sunday’s barren  draw against Zoo FC while Gor Mahia’s slight win against Sofapaka saw the champions at 3rd place with 25 points, just one point behind Mathare FC.

Western Stima shocked Mt Kenya with a 2-1 win taking them to the top five on the table, equal points with 4th placed Sofapaka.

Elsewhere, AFC Leopards’ woes were multiplied by a 1-0 defeat against Ulinzi Stars. The Leopards have managed to secure only 10 points in their 13 matches, sitting at 17th position on the table.

Vihiga United, AFC Leopards and Mt Kenya FC are staring at the delegation scare due to their poor performance this season. The three teams are holding the last 3 positions respectively on the KPL table.
