Harambee Starlets will face Egyptian Women’s National team who arrived in the country on Tuesday ahead of the friendly match set for Friday October 28 at Safaricom Stadium Kasarani.
The match against Egypt will be the third in a series of friendlies lined up by Football Kenya Federation (FKF) in the month of October as the National team intensifies preparations for the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON) tournament scheduled for November in Yaounde.
A week ago Kenya played Cameroon and lost 1-0 to the AWCON hosts.
Harambee Starlets emerged runners up after taking part in Cecafa Women Championship in Uganda where they came second behind Tanzania after falling 2-1 in the final in September.
Kenya also crushed CAK Khenifra 6-1 and Wydad Casablanca 8-1 when they traveled to Morocco for other build up matches.
Starlets are expected to jet out of the country for a return leg against Cameroon in November 5 as they will be finalising the build up matches.
