Grab Jobs Announced By The President to Fight COVID-19 Effects, Kayole DO Tells Area Residents

Assistant County Commissioner  Kayole Division Ambrose Lotim has asked  Kayole residents especially the youths to take seriously the recently announced job opportunities including Kazi Mtaani phase two during this COVID 19 pandemic.

In an interview with Ghetto Radio News Lotim says the 10 billion shillings announced recently by the president on the same project will have a huge impact on youths as they fight COVID 19.

‘‘The president rolled out these projects to help our youths get something to do during this tough economic times,in Kayole  we have listed some for the phase two  and we still want to  ask them to come forward, under this  program we shall use ten billion to enhance public sanitation ..so far 26,000 youths have benefited.’’ He said.

He, however, asked Kayole residents to continue observing COVID 19  guidelines to shun rubbing shoulders with authorities.

‘‘We insist that you maintain hygiene, ensure you obey curfew time and as the president did mention.. fighting COVID 19 is a collective responsibility we shouldn’t be forced to do so,’’ he added.

President Uhuru  Kenyatta in his last address also pumped  1.7 billion shillings in the health sector for new beds where the president emphasized on Jua Cali sector being given the job.
