All candidates who scored a minimum grade of C+ of 46 points in last year’s KCSE are eligible for a degree course under government sponsorship.
Speaking at a press briefing Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement CEO John Muraguri has said this placement service is only eligible for students who sat for KSCE in 2017
Mr. Muraguri says those who scored C- are eligible for diploma courses and placement service will open its online system on January 24th for the students to apply.

The placement board has given students with a mean grade of E slots to enroll in the technical and vocational training institutions.
Mr. Muragori has said there are so many opportunities for the students to further their studies regardless of their score in last year’s KCSE.
