Governor Sonko offers ksh.300,000 for information on missing activist

Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has offered Ksh.300,000 reward for information on missing human rights activist Caroline Mwatha.

The governor has called on anybody with information to contact the nearest police station or the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) offices.

Mwatha, a founding member at Dandora Community Social Justice Centerwent missing last week on Wednesday.

Her search has been extended to water bodies and forests in Nairobi and its vicinity.

Wilfred Olal, chairman at Dandora Community Social Justice while speaking to Ghetto Radio, said that they have mapped possible scenarios that may have led to her dissapearance at the same time adding that her work may be tied to the whole disappearance.

Olal also added that the search team has written to relevant bodies to grant them access to forests and rivers.
