Government Pledges To Facilitate Miguna’s Entry Back Into The Country
The immigration department has pledged to comply with court orders allowing outspoken politician Miguna Miguna back into the country.
In a press statement published on its Twitter handle, Immigration Director General Alexander Muteshi stated that they will facilitate the entry of Miguna Miguna into the country.
“The Directorate has been informed that Dr. Miguna Miguna will travel to Kenya on Tuesday, January 7, 2020,” read the statement.
“This is to confirm that in compliance with the court orders issued on December 14,2018, the Directorate will facilitate Dr. Miguna’s entry into Kenya,” the statement further stated.
Earlier today the High Court has issued fresh orders directing the government to facilitate the entry of Miguna on Tuesday, January 7.
