Gor Mahia Football Club has vowed to take action against Gor Mahia players over the controversies that emerged during the team’s home and away matches against Berkane of Morocco last week.
Gor Mahia Chairman Ambrose Rachier described as astonishing, the players refusal to report to training camps over false allegations of lack of payment.
According to Rachier, the club has paid the players the accrued bonuses and training allowances.
Speaking at a press briefing, Rachier further stated that the club is facing financial issues hnce the technicalities witnessed during their trip to Morocco.
He says that the club is guilty of failing to raise Kshs 8million for the air tickets due to financial constraints.
Gor Mahia arrived two hours to kick off time in their match against Berkane in Morocco after travelling by bus for eight hours.
Racheir claims that some players arrived a pillion riders on motorbikes a move that has angered the management.
Gor lost 5-1 to Berkane in the match.
