Gor Mahia ready to go despite the challenges

Gor Mahia has confirmed that it is ready to face Yanga FC from Tanzania in the Confederation Cup match set for tomorrow afternoon at the Kasarani Stadium.

The team is at position two of Goup D stage in the Confederation cup.

The team is prepared for the match despite the players playing over seven matches for the past two weeks says Haron Shakava the captain.

“The match is going to be tough and we don’t underestimate Yanga FC but we are on home grounds we are expected to deliver .”

The team has been facing challenges that were bringing friction among the players but through the chairman, the club explained to the players and technical bench the issues around finances and they all understood.

Gor Mahia team manager Jolawi Obondo apologised on behalf of all players  to the federation and CAF on what happened some days back in Tanzania
