Gor mahia Football Club has come out to explain the situation about the delayed August salary of their players.

According to the Chairman Ambrose Rachier  the salaries for August 2018 could not be paid on time due to unavoidable circumstances that were unexpected and that the issue has been rectified and the salaries will be paid today.

The chairman also added that the reports going around are misrepresented and misguided by people who lack information and are out to destroy the clubs name.

The officials have also denied reports they have received any payments from the sale of Godfrey Walusumbi to South Africans Kaizer FC and that they are still awaiting payments

The payments were to be in two installments one in August 2018 and the other in January2019
