A woman in Nairobi’s Kayole area is appealing to well wishers to help her raise 1 Million shillings to take her six year old daughter who was born with a defective heart for treatment.

Faith Kyallo says her daughter Caroline Mwende was born with a hole in the heart which was diagnosed when she was only five years.

Speaking to Ghetto Radio News Kyallo says the hole in the heart is however not the main cause of her daughter’s illness adding that a vein that is supposed to transport oxygen into the heart is blocked and needs to be replaced.

Kyallo  who was forced to quit her job as a househelp to take care of her daughter says her daughter has been in and out of hospital and that last month alone, they spent over 300,000 at the MP Shah Hospital where she had been admitted.

According to Kyalo, Doctors at the MP Shah Hospital advised her to take her daughter to India BY January where the vein will be replaced.
