Cooperates and students across Nairobi enjoyed a fun filled day during the August edition of the Genderthon challenge organized by Center for Rights Education and Awareness.

The fun filled event saw many adults bring out their inner child by taking part in some of their favorite games from back in the day like Kati, Bladder and bano.

Genderthon 2018 also gave an opportunity to the participants to enjoy an outdoor fitness challenge courtesy of Smart gyms Kenya.

The event engaged participants in games like the wall of doom, mud crawl, hanging ropes, sack race and tyre balancing.

Ghetto radio crew took part in the entire event and successfully scaling to the semi finals where they were the only media house competing against Power 254, Shreds 48, chamilionaires and Wasanii sanaa.

Wasanii team emerged the event winners taking home a total of seventy five thousand shillings followed by Chamillionaires who grabbed fifty thousand and Pawa 254 at position three winning twenty five thousand.

The gendertthon challenge which is its third year aims at bringing men and women together in a fitness filled fun event in order to address matters gender balance.
