Four injured as anti Babu Owino youth disrupt meeting in Embakasi

embakasiFour people have been injured after angry youth stormed a meeting convened by Nairobi Women Representative Esther Passaris in Tassia Embakasi East.

Angry youth armed with crude weapons stormed the meeting demanding that area MP Babu Owino and area MCA Michael Oganda leave the meeting.

The youth hit chairs and tables chanting anti Babu demanding that he leaves the meeting. Police were forced to fire in the air to disperse the youth.

Passaris had called the meeting courtesy of The National Government Affirmative Action Fund  to educate the youth and women on financial issues and on how they can access the Youth Fund.

The meeting however continued under heavy police security.
