Four Cabinets Secretaries have recorded statements at the The Directorate Of Criminal Investigations offices over claims that they are plotting against Deputy President William Ruto.
The four, Peter Munya, Sicilly Kariuki, Joe Mucheru and James Macharia have however failed to record statements after four hours of questioning by the DCI officers.
Munya who spoke on behalf of the four CSs stated that they could not record statements as there was no formal complaint.
“They have confirmed to us that the Deputy President of the republic of Kenya made a call and complained that some CSs together with other senior gov’t officers have been meeting at La Mada; He gave us specific dates of 14th May 2019
The Cabinet Secretaries are accused of holding secret meetings to stop DP Ruto from taking over after President Uhuru Kenyatta’s tenure ends in 2022.
