Members of Kenya E-graders association are seeking audience with Education CS Amina Mohamed following her decision to allow students who scored E to study for degrees.

The E-graders Association Chairman Ayub Simba Njagi says they want to appreciate Amina and give her rewards for gazetting the new regulations.

Speaking to Ghetto Radio News Njagi says they have a trophy made of wood, a football and a portrait of Amina as rewards.

“We are used to blaming youths for engaging in vices like drugs and crime but their actions are just because of stress and poor back grounds.”

The ministry of Education in June gazetted new regulations that will see students who scored E in Form Four allowed to study for degrees.

The students will however take longer than usual and it will all depend on their willingness.
