Football Kenya Federation President Nick Mwendwa has thanked the fans who came out in large numbers to rally support to the Harambee Stars in their Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier against Ghana.
This as he urged them to replicate the turnout when Kenya takes on Malawi in an international friendly match slated for Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at the MISC Kasarani starting at 3 pm.
“I want to thank all those who turned up for the match. The atmosphere was crucial for us to pick up maximum points,” said the FKF President.
Kenya dug out a 1-0 win over the West African country despite playing for the better part of the second half with a one-man handicap after defender Joash Onyango was shown red.
Ticketing information for the upcoming International friendly against Malawi has been released.
Big Brother Events and Ticketing will take charge of the event that will see fans part with kshs 100 to access the stands. VIP tickets will cost kshs 500.
The match has been scheduled for Tuesday, September 11, 2018, at the MISC Kasarani starting at 3 pm.
