Speaking at the handing over ceremony that took place at the FKF Secretariate at the Nyayo Stadium offices, new President Nick Mwendwa confirmed that the federation has some debts that are yet to be settled.
“It is true that Bobby williamson is owed Ksh 30 million and that the workers here at the secretariate have not been paid for seven months.”
“the out going president has promised to me personaly that the goverment has guarenteed to settle the coach’s debts,”he said.
The handing over to the new office did not take place as scheduled as the outgoing President Sam Nyamweya asked for a little time to sort out issues which the current office accepted.
Already ‘Team Change’ has taken over the secretariate and among the documents expected to be handed over include the books of accounts, official handover notes and contracts signed by the federation with other entities.
